Manaslu is the eight highest mountain in the world, and is located in the Mansiri Himal part of the Nepalese Himalayas, in the west central part of Nepal. Its name, which means” Mounatain of Sprit” comes from the Saskiri word monsa, meaning “intellect or Soul” Manasulu was first climbed on may 9, 1956 by Toshio Lamanish and Gyalzen Norbu members of Japanese expedition. Manasulu at 8156m above see leavel means it is the highest peak in Lamjung district and it is located about forty miles east of Annpurna. The Manaslu offers variety of trekking option. The Manaslu trek perfect combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan beauty, and a rich mountain biological diversity. The Manasulu trek offers the experience of being in typical village and many ancient monasteries.
The T-sum valley is known as hidden valley.
