Pisang Peak rising opposite of Annapurna II (7937m) with its well defined ridges Pisang is one of the lowest small scale climbing peaks, for which matter it is considered to be the easiest non-expedition peak in Nepal. It lies roughly in between the giant Annapurna I and Manaslu Himal; both eight thousand plus meters. To reach the base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to Kharka at (4,380m) which is considered the best place for setting up the base camp.
